| The Homestead is nestled between both arms of the San Juan River amidst the wild fern and moss laden trees. Our tranquil 7 acres is home to the local herd of Roosevelt Elk. From August to October, the elk viewing and rut is spectactular, and we are right in the heart of it all!
At The Homestead we offer:
Rustic Cabins
- Both of our rustic cabins are studio units, each with private 4 piece bathrooms.
- Our cabins each have a queen bed and a set of twin bunk beds.
- Both cabins are self-contained with all the amenities to ensure your stay with us is as comfortable as possible. There is a covered outdoor cooking area with a 3-burner Coleman stove, crab cooker, and BBQ.
- Between the two cabins you will find a very inviting fire pit for cooking and relaxation.
- Both cabins, are non smoking. Ashtrays are provided outside.
- Although we love animals we cannot accept your pets. They might not get along with the local elk and black bears that frequently stop by for a visit.
